New York, I Love You (2009) - Movie Review

It's New York. The sin-ty that never sleeps in an effort to bilk the entire world out of every Koruna they can. You know who I'm talking about Goldman Sachs et al., don't ya? But, there are some real people left in NY that have rich movie star friends that like to make little shorts and convince their Vivendi "friends" to produce.

It's littered with stars, just look at the list below, and yet it's still kinda interesting. There are stories, enjoyable ones, that are worth telling from this group. Surprising I know. It might not be as satisfying as a full on, well written love story, but occasionally, compilations are worth it.

There is much erne in this montage of New York love seekers. So much so, that I emplore you to not skip the snacks for this one. You'll need them to help you look away during a few moments of uber erne-ness. A shy, coy glance at the raisnettes will do the trick.

If you're in need of a horror fix, and have massive patience for contrived, yet somehow it works, filmmaking, then grab a seat at Paranormal Activity, the Paramount, better than Blair Witch, cinema verite, agonizingly and annoyingly marketed, flick about plain people and a drafty house.
