The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009)
Swordfish is back on the menu. Even in a fast-paced NY City, things can get faster if an actor takes a bunch of hostages to get his stalled career going...again. And Tony Scott is the Top Gun to handle this kind of movie. All grit and blur, unrealistic time-lines, governmental...er, govern-mental "move fast and appear as if you're doing something" action-packed "hostage in peril" yarn. Go Tony. Go Tony. Go fix that third act just a bit.
One of the things UTA is famous for is the elusive "UTA Job List". The list includes many assistant position job listings for agent/publicist/manager hopefuls. UTA will not confirm the existence of such a list, but it does indeed exist and is only available to those with connections to people within Hollywood to be able to obtain it.

NOTE: Unless specific permission is given within the listing, DO NOT CALL about positions or to follow up.

Round two for Troy Duffy. Taking place right after the first, they didn't even have time to spend the $26K the first movie grossed. Somebody, somewhere is hoping it'll make more this time, but with 65 theaters, I don't know. Michael Jackson is the big elephant man this weekend, but those 3400 theaters are gonna be less full than Sony has deluded themselves to believe.
If you like your movies Irish, then welcome the brothers Connor (Sean Patrick Flannery) and Murphy (Norman Reedus) McManus, now actually in Ireland from their usual Boston digs. Hiding out does that to ya, but I won...

Mischa's been placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold (also known as a 5150) by the Los Angeles Police Department and is currently at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, reports Access Hollywood.
The next 72 hours could bring serious soul searching and seriously hot photo-shoots of her in white. Defamer says she missed her comeback in New York tonight by missing the premiere of her new movie, Homecoming. Or, just maybe, the comeback starts with 72 hours of crazy...
And in all seriousness, we all hope she's just "actor crazy" which can be fun and exciting, and not anything else, which is...

Couples Retreat (2009)
You may be tempted to ignore this pick and go see An Education instead, and you know what, you might be right. An Education is a fine movie, moving and introspective. But not everybody will be able to see An Education this weekend due to the platform release. So, how bout a retreat?

You would think from all the horror films you've watched in you're years, that fear is now behind you. Wrong. Paranormal Activity 2, the sequel of the biggest phenomenal horror film, will squeeze shut your eyes and make you feel an intense insomnia on you're shoulder. This film is so unlike others, in the sense that it's a new taste of horror. To start off, I can't argue enough how much this film is nothing like the Blair Witch Project. When others compare both films and say Paranormal got it's idea from it, it's total stupidity. The development of Paranormal Activity 2 is based off the...

If you are reading this review, I am going to assume that you are interested in making films and doing so with no budget. Well, if that’s the case, you will want to read this.
No Budget Film Making is just that…for people who are dead broke or close to it. I’m not talking about trying to make a film the likes of George Lucas. I’m talking about just trying to make an amateur production without going broke in the process. Today…nothing is cheap.
Well, this course is a must have for anybody who is looking to do the near impossible in an incredibly competitive...
